The Detroit Pistons delivered a wire-to-wire performance, overwhelming the Atlanta Hawks, 142-115, in their 2025–26 NBA regular season clash on Saturday morning (PH time) at Little Caesars Arena.

Detroit leaned on balanced scoring to control the game, with Isaiah Stewart leading the way with 17 points. Cade Cunningham and Duncan Robinson chipped in 15 apiece, Jalen Duren added 14, and four other Pistons finished in double figures.

The home team broke the game open in the third quarter, flexing its depth and defensive pressure to build a commanding 104-79 advantage entering the fourth. Detroit showed no signs of slowing down, pushing the margin to a game-high 35 points after Jaden Ivey’s floater with 5:28 remaining.

With the win, the Pistons improved to 20-5, further cementing their place atop the Eastern Conference standings. Detroit heads on the road next to face the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, while the Hawks (14-12) look to bounce back against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.

Cunningham is increasingly resembling James Harden of his prime. Looking forward to his continued improvement in the future.

Yesterday, all Thunder players scored, and today, all Pistons players scored. Looking forward to the rise of these two young teams from the Eastern and Western Conferences.

I'm bullish on the Pistons winning the Eastern Conference championship in the regular season. With eight players scoring in double figures, they feel like the Thunder of the East!
