The Boston Celtics snapped a two-game losing streak with a 129–116 home victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. Miami played shorthanded, missing several key players including Davion Mitchell, Andrew Wiggins, and Tyler Herro.

The contest remained close through the first three quarters, with neither team able to pull away. Boston carried just a three-point lead heading into the final period.

The fourth quarter, however, belonged to the Celtics. Sam Hauser ignited a decisive run with two timely three-pointers, sparking a team-wide shooting surge from beyond the arc. Boston eventually stretched its lead to double digits, capping the night with a dominant 20–5 run to seal the win.

Derrick White led all scorers with 33 points, highlighted by nine three-pointers, as his hot shooting proved pivotal in the final quarter. Jaylen Brown also delivered a strong all-around effort, finishing with 30 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.

Despite the loss, Miami had six players in double figures. Rookie center Kel’el Ware stood out with a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds.

Boston heads into a back-to-back matchup against the Toronto Raptors, while the Heat look to bounce back against the New York Knicks on December 22.

Great game by White and Brown. Season high for White. They took control in the 4th quarter. Hugo, Hauser, Queta and Simons all helped!

Brown once again delivered an MVP-level performance, and White was supernaturally accurate from three-point range. Currently, the Celtics remain strong contenders for the Eastern Conference championship!
