The Boston Celtics kept the guns blazing, delivering a 115-101 beatdown of the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday (PH time) at TD Garden in Boston.

Boston opened the floodgates in the opening period, outscoring the Bulls 31–14 behind a balanced offensive attack.

Despite their imposing performance, the Celtics did not lean on Jaylen Brown’s firepower, as he went ice-cold with just 14 points on 6-of-24 shooting from the field after his 50-point outburst against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

Instead, Anfernee Simons carried the offensive mantle off the bench with a season-high 27 points on an efficient 9-of-16 shooting from the field and an 8-of-14 clip from beyond the arc, while Payton Pritchard added 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Bulls attempted to mount a comeback, igniting a 15–5 run to trim the deficit from 101–81 to 106–96 with 3:34 remaining.

However, the Celtics quickly sealed the deal, with Derrick White, Neemias Queta, and Simons combining for nine points to secure the win. With the victory, Boston has now won nine of its last 10 games.

Meanwhile, Matas Buzelis led Chicago with 26 points, but his effort went for naught as the Bulls suffered back-to-back defeats.

The Celtics’ hot streak will be put to the test as they host the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. The Bulls, meanwhile, will hit the road to face the Detroit Pistons on the same day.

Celtics: Tatum, maybe you should just stay away. Jaylen Brown is doing a great job leading the team all by himself. Hahaha
