The Denver Nuggets snapped the Boston Celtics’ four-game winning streak with a 114-110 victory during the 2025-26 NBA regular season on Thursday morning (PH time) at TD Garden.
The contest swung back and forth throughout, featuring 26 lead changes and nine deadlocks.
Denver seized control in the fourth quarter with a decisive 10-0 run sparked by a Christian Braun three-pointer and capped by a Peyton Watson layup, pushing the Nuggets ahead 97-90 with 5:07 remaining and forcing a Boston timeout.
The visitors stayed aggressive after the break, extending the lead to 101-90 behind four straight points from Zeke Nnaji. Moments later, Jamal Murray found Watson in the left corner, where he buried a clutch three-pointer to further solidify Denver’s hold.
With Nikola Jokic sidelined for a fifth straight game, the Nuggets leaned on Watson, who erupted for 30 points, while Murray added 22.
Boston knocked down timely shots to cut the deficit to three in the closing moments, but the Celtics ran out of time to complete the comeback.
The win lifted Denver to 25-12 as the Nuggets return home to host the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
