The Indiana Pacers continued their strong run at home, outlasting the New Orleans Pelicans in a high-scoring contest, 127-119, to secure their fourth win in their last five outings.

Indiana and New Orleans traded baskets early, with both teams leaning on their stars in an offensive-heavy first half. Zion Williamson powered the Pelicans, while Pascal Siakam set the tone for the Pacers.

Indiana briefly seized control in the second quarter, building a 16-point cushion behind a breakout stretch from Jay Huff, before the Pelicans answered with a 13-0 run to cut the lead to single digits at the break.

The Pelicans stayed within striking distance after halftime, trimming the deficit to just two points. The Pacers, however, steadied themselves and pulled away with a balanced offensive effort.

Siakam delivered the finishing blow with a timely three-point play late, shutting the door on any comeback attempt.

Five Pacers finished in double figures, led by Huff, who turned in the best game of his career with a personal-best 29 points. He was dominant in the second quarter, scoring 12 points and grabbing five rebounds during the surge. Siakam chipped in 27 points.

Williamson, meanwhile, paced New Orleans with a team-high 27 points in the loss.

Indiana next heads out on the road for a back-to-back against the Detroit Pistons, while the Pelicans travel to face the Houston Rockets on January 19.
