The NBA has officially announced that Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Miami Heat standout Bam Adebayo have been named the Western Conference and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 13 of the season.
 
Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder to a 2–1 record, averaging 31 points and 4.0 assists per game while shooting 54.7 percent from the field.
 
Adebayo also powered his team to a 2–1 mark, posting 27 points and 8.3 rebounds per game and knocking down 56.5 percent of his three-point attempts.
