The Golden State Warriors stretched their unbeaten run to four games, recording a 135-112 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday (PH time) at Chase Center. The victory came at a huge price, though, after Warriors star player Jimmy Butler exited the contest with a right knee injury.
Butler suffered the injury with 7:41 remaining in the third quarter. The 36-year-old forward fell to the court holding his right knee after he landed awkwardly on his leg. He was helped off the court, with Golden State holding a slim 77-75 lead at that stage.

The Warriors rallied around their injured teammate, finishing the third quarter on a 27-18 run to build a 104-93 advantage entering the final period. Golden State never looked back after that, extending its lead to as many as 24 points in the fourth quarter.
Six other players scored double figures for the Warriors, who improved to 25-19. Brandin Podziemski led Golden State’s offense with 24 points off the bench. Stephen Curry posted a double-double with 19 points and 11 assists.
Norman Powell scored a team-high 21 points for the Heat, who fell to 22-21. Bam Adebayo struggled mightily on the offensive end, finishing with just 4 points on 1-for-13 shooting.
