In a game postponed by one day due to an earlier off-court incident, the Golden State Warriors delivered a decisive second-half surge to roll past the Minnesota Timberwolves 111–85 on the road. The win snapped Golden State’s two-game losing streak while extending Minnesota’s skid to five straight losses.
The first half was closely contested, with the Warriors carrying a slim 47–46 lead into the break. Momentum swung decisively in the third quarter, as the Timberwolves’ offense stalled, scoring just 17 points in the period. Golden State, meanwhile, caught fire, scoring 38 points and stretching the margin to 22 by the end of the quarter—effectively putting the game out of reach.
The Warriors maintained control throughout the fourth quarter, comfortably closing out the victory.
Golden State leaned on balanced production, with six players scoring in double figures. Stephen Curry led the way with 26 points and seven assists, while also recording four steals. For Minnesota, Anthony Edwards finished with a game-high 32 points in a losing effort.
The two teams won’t have to wait long for another meeting, as the Warriors remain in Minnesota for a back-to-back rematch against the Timberwolves on Friday night.
