Luka Doncic continued to create history in a Lakers uniform, joining another exclusive list in Los Angeles’ 129-118 win over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday (PH time) at the United Center.
Doncic stuffed the stat sheet against the Bulls, racking up 46 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds in 38 minutes of action. He shot 15-for-25 from the field, including 8-for-14 from the 3-point area.
He became just the second player in franchise history to record at least 45 points, 10 assists, and 5 made 3-pointers in a single game, joining Kobe Bryant on the exclusive list.
He also was just the second player to record a 45-point, 10-assist double-double multiple times with the Lakers, joining the great Elgin Baylor.
Doncic has been playing exceptional basketball for the Lakers lately. Before his explosion against Chicago, the Slovenian star was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for Week 14.
