Los Angeles Lakers big man Jaxson Hayes and San Antonio Spurs rookie guard Carter Bryant have accepted invitations to participate in the 2026 NBA Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, according to basketball insider Shams Charania.
Hayes grabbed the headlines recently when he threw down a between-the-legs dunk during the Lakers’ 129-118 win over the Bulls last Tuesday (PH time). Bryant, on the other hand, is the fifth player in the history of the Spurs’ franchise to join the Slam Dunk Contest, the first since his teammate Stephon Castle competed in the event last year.

The Slam Dunk Contest will have a new winner this year after three-time defending champion Mac McClung announced last week that he will not be joining the All-Star event at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
