The first quarter saw both teams engage in a high-scoring battle, with the Pelicans taking a two-point lead. However, in the second quarter, the Pelicans' shooting cooled off drastically as they managed only 21 points.
The 76ers maintained their offensive momentum, unleashing a 36-21 run to establish a double-digit lead. Embiid dominated the quarter with 15 points and three rebounds.
After halftime, the 76ers' shooting efficiency dipped. Fueled by strong performances from Saddiq Bey and Trey Murphy III, the Pelicans narrowed the gap to just six points by the end of the third quarter.
