The Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers have completed a blockbuster point guard swap, with James Harden headed to Cleveland in exchange for Darius Garland and a second-round pick, according to Shams Charania.
Charania reported that Harden and the Clippers mutually worked through his exit over the past few days, resulting in a deal that benefits both sides. The move gives Harden, 36, a win-now opportunity as he continues to play at a high level, while Los Angeles acquires the younger Garland, a two-time All-Star viewed as a key piece for both the present and future.

Harden has remained productive this season, averaging 25.4 points and 8.1 assists per game.
Garland, meanwhile, has been limited by injuries, including an ankle sprain that sidelined him for several games, but is still putting up 18.0 points and 6.9 assists per contest.
