They took down the pair of Filipino-Canadian Leylah Fernandez and former WTA double ranked No. 1 player Kristina Mladenovic, 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 before ripping second seed Cristina Bucșa and Chinese Shuai Zhang, 6-3, 6-3, in the semifinals.
But the pair of Mihalikova and Nicholls isn't a pushover.
They dominated the pair of Darija Schreiber and Katarzyna Piter, 7-5, 6-3, before outlasting Irina Khromacheva and Andreja Klepac, 5-7, 7-6(5), 10-8, prompting Eala and Tjen to be at their best if they want to advance to the final round.
