The fight was supposed to happen on October 25 last year but was postponed after the towering Fundora sustained a hand injury during the training camp, forcing him to withdraw two weeks before the initial schedule.

Standing at 6-foot-5, Fundora has the huge size and reach advantage against the already 37-year-old Thurman, though the veteran is still expected to pose some challenge against the champion nicknamed "The Towering Inferno."

Fundora is sporting a 23-1-1 record and is coming off a seventh round stoppage of Tim Tszyu in their rematch in July last year.
Thurman, a former unified welterweight champion, is looking to get a world title in his second weight class.
He, however, has not fought since March last year when he scored a third round knockout of Brock Jarvis.
