The NBA announced that San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle and Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson have been named the Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 16 of the season.
Castle powered the Spurs to a perfect 3–0 week, averaging 24.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game.
Johnson, meanwhile, steered the Hawks to a 2–1 record, putting up impressive averages of 27.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 11.3 assists.
