ZUS Coffee finally ended a two-game skid, pulling off a come-from-behind 16-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-23, 15-12 win over Akari in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the FilOil Centre in San Juan City.

Jovelyn Gonzaga took matters into her own hands to will her team back from a 1-2 deficit as she poured 14 points, including the crucial blows in the fifth set.

Gonzaga connived with Fiola Ceballos for an 11-7 lead in the fifth before Ivy Lacsina kept them within striking distance with three consecutive hits, 12-10.
