With the game tied at 103 in the final seconds, Jalen Brunson calmly rose for a clutch mid-range jumper to give the Knicks the lead. On the other end, Kevin Durant attempted to respond with a shot of his own but came up short.
Forced to foul with time winding down, Houston sent New York to the free-throw line, where the Knicks capitalized to stretch the advantage. Durant later drained a triple to trim the deficit to one, but there was no time left for the Rockets to mount a final push.

Karl-Anthony Towns paced the Knicks with 25 points, while Brunson and OG Anunoby added 20 apiece to seal the statement win.
The victory lifted New York to 36-21 as it bounced back from its previous setback. The Knicks will next host the Cleveland Cavaliers.
