Bella Belen finally got the support she needed, as Sydney Niegos stepped up to power Capital1 past Farm Fresh in a five-set thriller, 26-24, 20-25, 28-26, 20-25, 15-11, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at FilOil Centre in San Juan City.
Super rookie Belen extended her 20-point streak to six games, but this time, others stepped up, especially Niegos, who unleashed a PVL career-high 20 points.
The former Jose Rizal University standout dropped 17 kills, two blocks, and an ace.
Belen finished with 23 points off 20 attacks and three blocks on top of 19 excellent receptions and 12 digs, as Capital1 improved to 3-2.
Shaya Adorador and Pauline Gaston also stepped up, with Jasmine Nabor setting the plays.
Farm Fresh’s two-game winning streak was snapped by Capital1, sliding to 2-3.
