Six-peat-seeking National University seeks to close the first round with a fourth straight win in a clash with De La Salle University in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 88 men’s volleyball tournament Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Bulldogs and Green Spikers meet at 11 a.m. after the curtain-raiser collision between Adamson University and University of the Philippines at 9 a.m.

NU is on a roll after losing to still unbeaten Far Eastern University, bringing down UP, University of the East and Ateneo de Manila University in straight sets for a 5-1 win-loss record in solo second spot.

La Salle, on the other hand, is coming from a four-set win over the Red Warriors for a 2-4 slate tied with the Fighting Maroons.

UP is reeling from three straight losses but the Falcons have it worse with five in a row.

Adamson has yet to win another game since its opening day triumph.
