Luka Doncic is facing a one-game suspension after he received his 16th technical foul of the season on Saturday (PH time) during the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Brooklyn Nets.
 
Doncic and Brooklyn forward Ziaire Williams were handed double techs with 5:12 left in the third quarter after they jostled with one another following an offensive foul call on the Lakers star.
 
Both players were called for a technical foul by crew chief Sean Wright, with a video review showing Doncic pushing Williams and the latter retaliating by swiping back at the Slovenian’s face. 
 
Barring Doncic’s technical being rescinded, which is unlikely given that the referees already reviewed the incident before assessing it, the Lakers star will serve the one-game suspension when Los Angeles hosts the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
