Both teams struggled offensively in the first quarter, with the Wizards leading by a single point. The Lakers took control in the second quarter, going on an 18-4 run to build a double-digit lead and extended it to 21 points by halftime. The Wizards cut the deficit to single digits after the break, but Los Angeles maintained a 14-point lead entering the final frame. The fourth quarter saw Washington’s offense stall as the Lakers cruised to victory.

LeBron James recorded a triple-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists, further cementing his record as the oldest player in NBA history to achieve a triple-double. Austin Reaves added 19 points and 9 assists.

The Lakers will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in a back-to-back matchup, while the Wizards host the Philadelphia 76ers on April 2.
