The Phoenix Suns headed into the halftime break with a 50-45 lead over the Golden State Warriors in their Play-In game on Saturday (PH time) at Mortgage Matchup Center.
Jalen Green scored a team-high 14 points for the Suns, who got off to a strong start against the Warriors. They built a 33-15 lead after the first quarter, sending Phoenix fans into a frenzy.

The Warriors came storming back, though, outscoring the Suns 30-17 in the second quarter to cut the deficit to five points entering the second half.
Brandin Podziemski led Golden State in scoring with 12 points. Steph Curry added 7 points.
The winner of this contest will face Oklahoma City in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs.
