Eala will look for a much better showing in Madrid after she lost back-to-back matches on clay in Austria and Germany. She lost to Jelena Ostapenko in the round of 16 at the Linz Open before suffering a first-round defeat at the hands of Leylah Fernandez in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart.
