The Portland Trail Blazers rallied from behind to upset the San Antonio Spurs, 106-103, in Game 2 on Wednesday (PH time) at the Frost Bank Center, evening their first-round series at 1-1.
San Antonio suffered a major setback early when Victor Wembanyama exited in the second quarter after hitting his face on the floor and entering concussion protocol, ruling him out for the remainder of the game.

Portland took advantage, building a double-digit lead before the Spurs stormed back and even grabbed control in the third. San Antonio pushed its advantage to as many as 14 in the fourth, but the Blazers refused to fold.
Jrue Holiday gave Portland a late edge with a crucial putback, and moments later, Deni Avdija connected with Robert Williams III on an alley-oop that resulted in a three-point play opportunity, stretching the lead to three in the final seconds.
The Spurs had one last chance after Devin Vassell split late free throws, but his potential game-tying three fell short at the buzzer.

Scoot Henderson led Portland with 31 points, while Holiday added 16 and Avdija chipped in 14.
The series now shifts to Portland for Game 3 on Saturday.
