The Minnesota Timberwolves entered the halftime break with a commanding 61-39 lead over the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of their first-round series in the 2026 Western Conference Playoffs on Friday (PH time) at Target Center.
Ayo Dosunmu scored 14 points off the bench for the Wolves. Jaden McDaniels led Minnesota's starters with 13 points. Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo also scored in double figures, dropping 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Nikola Jokic was the lone Denver player to reach double digits in scoring with 13 points. Jamal Murray struggled in the first half, posting 8 points on 3-for-9 shooting.
Minnesota got off to a strong start, building a 25-11 lead after the first quarter. The Wolves continued to pile on the pressure in the second quarter, outscoring the Nuggets 36-28 to extend their lead to 22 points at the half.
The best-of-seven series is currently tied at 1-1.
