Rain or Shine regained its form after a 91-82 win over Magnolia on Saturday in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) 50 Commissioner's Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Rain or Shine improved its record to 8-1 win-loss, bouncing back from its previous defeat against Phoenix Super LPG.

Gian Mamuyac had 25 points to lead the Elasto Painters comeback after the trailed by 12 points in the contest.

Jaylen Johnson had 25 points and 14 rebounds, and Jhonard Clarito added 18 points as the Elasto Painters survived the struggles of Adrian Nocum, who scored only eight points after missing his first seven attempts.

Tempers flared in the end after Magnolia consultant Erick Arejola got into a verbal altercation with Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao.

Magnolia dropped to 4-5 with the defeat.
