In the early hours of Sunday morning (PH time), Klay Thompson's girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion, suddenly took to Instagram to accuse him of cheating. Shortly after, her spokesperson confirmed to TMZ that the couple had split.
She wrote on Instagram: "Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet' Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'???? b**** I need a REAL break after this one ..bye yall"

Thompson and the rapper confirmed their relationship last summer. Commenting on the breakup, TMZ quipped: "Klay just fouled out of this one!"
However, the story didn't end there. Thompson fired back online, first stating on Instagram that he never cheated on Megan.
Subsequently, he went live and confirmed the rumors, alleging that Megan Thee Stallion cheated on him with one of his own teammates. He said he was "not shocked," called the teammate "a L," and announced he would never get into another relationship again.
Since joining the Dallas Mavericks, the legendary NBA sharpshooter has been plagued by injuries and inconsistent form.
This season, he played 69 games for the Mavericks, averaging 11.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.
