AT THE HALF: ROS leads NLEX 49-37

Rain or Shine climbed to a 49-37 advantage at the half against NLEX in the PBA 50 Commissioner's Cup this Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Elasto Painters posted their biggest lead in the game at 14 points following a 9-3 spread midway in the second quarter. Rain or Shine has forced NLEX to commit 12 turnovers already in the first half while tallying five steals in the effort.
NLEX appeared to be accelerating early on with an 8-0 spurt, but the Elasto Painters responded with a 19-10 spread to go up 23-18 at the end of the opening quarter.
Andrei Caracut leads the balanced offense from ROS with eight points, followed by Jhonard Clarito with five markers. Gian Mamuyac and Christian Manaytay had four markers apiece.
Meanwhile, Cady Lalanne collected 12 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks.
