The Smart-backed squad handed second-ranked Team Falcons only their second loss of the tournament, climbing to 6-6 in the standings while holding on to fourth place and securing their spot in the six-team playoffs.
Omega Esports opened the series in dominant fashion, cruising to an 8-0 win in 14 minutes and 21 seconds behind John “Perkz” Sumawan’s steady playmaking on Marcel, tallying eight assists in a commanding performance.
But Team Falcons leaned on their experience and composure to level the series with a hard-fought 18-minute win in Game 2, where Michael “Kyle” Sayson came alive, finishing with five kills and four assists against a lone death on Suyou.

Team Falcons slid to 9-2 in the standings but remained in the second spot.
