The Detroit Pistons kept their season alive after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers, 115-94, in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference semifinal matchup on Saturday morning (PH time) in Detroit.
The first half was tightly contested, but Detroit showed tremendous urgency in the third quarter, blowing the game open and taking an 84-70 lead entering the final period.
The Pistons kept their foot on the gas in the fourth, stretching the cushion to as many as 19 points. Every time Cleveland tried to mount a rally, Detroit answered with timely baskets to keep the Cavs at bay.

The decisive blow came after Jarrett Allen cut the deficit to 13, only for Daniss Jenkins to respond with a cold-blooded triple with 3:37 remaining.
Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 21 points and eight assists, while role players stepped up in a big way as Paul Reed and Duncan Robinson added 17 and 14 points, respectively.
With the series now tied at 3-3, the matchup heads to a winner-take-all Game 7 on Monday in Detroit.
