Oklahoma City star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won the 2025-26 NBA Most Valuable Player Award, according to basketball insider Shams Charania.
Charania delivered the news on his X account, writing: "Breaking: Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won his second consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player award, becoming the 14th player in league history to win back-to-back MVPs, multiple sources tell ESPN."
The MVP news comes just one day before Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder begin their Western Conference Finals showdown with the San Antonio Spurs.
