The NBA officially announced the All-Defensive Teams today.
Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was the most dazzling name on the list. In the 2025-26 season, Wembanyama became the youngest player in NBA history — and the first-ever unanimous selection — to win Defensive Player of the Year, averaging 11.5 rebounds and a league-leading 3.1 blocks per game. Notably, Wembanyama also received all 100 first-place votes for the All-Defensive Team, finishing with a perfect 200 points — the only player in league history to achieve this feat.
Thunder teammates Chet Holmgren and Cason Wallace were named to the All-Defensive First and Second Teams respectively, making Oklahoma City the only team with two players selected to the All-Defensive squads. The Thunder were the biggest winners of this year's defensive honors.

Additionally, Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert was also selected to the All-Defensive First Team. According to statistics, this marks Gobert's eighth career selection to the All-Defensive First Team, tying Tim Duncan, Scottie Pippen, and Bobby Jones for the second-most in NBA history, trailing only Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Michael Jordan, and Gary Payton (each with nine selections).
The full rosters are as follows:
All-Defensive First Team: Victor Wembanyama, Chet Holmgren, Ausar Thompson, Rudy Gobert, Derrick White
All-Defensive Second Team: Bam Adebayo, OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes, Dyson Daniels, Cason Wallace
