The San Antonio Spurs came out firing in the first quarter, building a 31-26 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday (PH time) at Frost Bank Center.
The Spurs started the game with a 15-0 blast to send their fans into a frenzy.
The Thunder immediately responded, though, unleashing a 17-6 run to silence the home crowd.
De'Aaron Fox starred in his return to the starting lineup, scoring a team-high 9 points for the Spurs. Victor Wembanyama added 7 points.
Jaylin Williams and Alex Caruso provided some much-needed scoring off the bench for OKC, combining for 13 points. They picked up the offensive slack with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander held scoreless in the first quarter.
