The San Antonio Spurs started off strongly in their Game 4 showdown with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday (PH time), building a 28-19 lead in their Western Conference Finals encounter at Frost Bank Center.
Victor Wembanyama scored a game-high 11 points for the Spurs, who unleashed a 16-0 run in the middle of the first quarter to turn a 7-8 deficit into a 23-8 advantage.
Devin Vassell added 6 points for the Spurs, who are seeking to even the series at two games apiece.
Isaiah Hartenstein powered OKC's offense, scoring the Thunder's first 8 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 6 points for the Thunder, who finished the quarter with an 11-5 run to cut the deficit to single digits.
