Oklahoma City and San Antonio are locked in a tight battle to start Game 5, with the Thunder building a slim 29-27 advantage after the first quarter in their Western Conference Finals clash on Wednesday (PH time) at Paycom Center.
Chet Holmgren came alive for OKC, scoring a team-high 8 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also contributed with 7 points.
Julian Champagnie, who has struggled in this series, came out firing in Game 5, scoring 13 points in the first quarter for San Antonio.
Victor Wembanyama only had 2 points and 1 rebound in the opening quarter.
