Game 7 of the West Finals remained tightly contested, with San Antonio holding a slim 80-77 lead over Oklahoma City after the third quarter on Sunday (PH time) at Paycom Center.
The Spurs threatened to pull away in the third quarter, building a 76-65 lead with 5:21 remaining. The Thunder battled back, though, finishing the period on a 12-4 run to cut the deficit to just three points entering the fourth quarter.
Julian Champagnie led the Spurs with 17 points through three quarters. Victor Wembanyama added 16 points and 7 rebounds.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander showed why he is the reigning MVP, scoring 31 points through the first three quarters.
