The San Antonio Spurs started off strongly in Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals, building a 33-22 lead after the first quarter of their championship showdown on Tuesday (PH time) at Madison Square Garden.
The Spurs raced to a 7-0 lead, powered by two Victor Wembanyama dunks and a block on the defensive end. The Spurs stretched their lead to double-digits as they look to end the Knicks' 13-game winning streak in the playoffs.
Wembanyama led the Spurs with 9 points on 4-of-7 shooting. Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell also contributed, dropping 7 and 6 points, respectively.
Josh Hard led New York's offense with 8 points. OG Anunoby added 6 points for the Knicks, who hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
