Alex Eala moved closer to getting seeded for the 2026 Wimbledon Championships after she rose to No. 33 in the latest WTA rankings. The Filipina tennis star climbed four spots after she captured the 2026 Birmingham Open title, earning the maximum 125 points with that victory.
Eala will look to gain more points this week when she participates in the 2026 HSBC Championships. She will open her campaign at Queen's Club with a first-round showdown against Shuai Zhang on Tuesday.
