The Miami Heat blasted the Los Angeles Clippers, 140-123, in their 2025-26 NBA regular season clash on Tuesday morning (PH time) at Kaseya Center.
Miami turned the pressure up in the second quarter, stretching an 11-point lead into a commanding 20-point cushion by halftime. From there, the result was never in doubt as the Clippers lacked the firepower to threaten a serious comeback.
Norman Powell led the way with 30 points, while Bam Adebayo delivered a monster outing of 27 points and 14 rebounds. Tyler Herro and Andrew Wiggins added 22 apiece to round out the Heat’s balanced effort.
Kawhi Leonard turned back the clock with 36 points, 7 rebounds, and two steals. “The Klaw” showed grit by pouring in 19 in the fourth quarter, but it was too little too late to put his team within striking distance.
The Heat rise to 14-7 as they gear up for a showdown with the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. The Clippers plunge to 5-16 and will look to regroup against the Atlanta Hawks on the same day.
