No Wemby, no problem! The San Antonio Spurs used a second-half onslaught to record a stunning 120-108 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 3 of their first-round series in the 2026 Western Conference Playoffs on Saturday (PH time) at Moda Center.
Stephon Castle scored a game-high 33 points for the Spurs, who looked out of sorts early in the second half. San Antonio trailed Portland by 15 points with 5 minutes remaining in the third quarter as they struggled without star big man Victor Wembanyama, who was sidelined due to concussion.

San Antonio came storming back, though, finishing the third period on a 21-5 run to grab an 88-87 lead entering the fourth quarter.
The Spurs then unleashed another monster run in the fourth quarter, delivering a 19-2 blast to turn a 93-95 deficit into a 112-97 advantage with 4 minutes remaining in the contest.
Dylan Harper sparked the Spurs' revival, scoring a career-high 27 points and grabbing 10 boards. He stepped up in Wembanyama's absence, shooting 9-for-12 from the field, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Deni Avdija struggled offensively for the Blazers, shooting 3-of-15 from the floor. He finished the game with 19 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds.
