Cooper Flagg won the 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year Award, beating Kon Knueppel and VJ Edgecombe for the prestigious honor, the league announced on Tuesday (PH time).
Flagg captured the individual prize after a historic first season with the Dallas Mavericks. The No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft lived up to the hype, averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in his rookie season.

He made history with those stats, becoming the first rookie since the great Michael Jordan to lead his team in total points, rebounds, assists and steals.
