The Oklahoma City Thunder moved to the brink of the Western Conference Finals after overpowering the Los Angeles Lakers, 131-108, in Game 3 on Sunday morning (PH time) at Crypto.com Arena.
Facing a must-win situation, the Lakers came out with urgency and even carried a rare lead into halftime against the defending champions.
But Oklahoma City flipped the momentum in the third quarter, turning up the defensive pressure and igniting a huge rally to take firm control of the contest.

Ajay Mitchell led the scoring with 24 points and 10 assists, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 23 points and nine assists. Chet Holmgren also turned in a strong performance with 18 points and nine rebounds.
The Thunder now hold a commanding 3-0 series lead and will attempt to complete the sweep in Game 4 on Tuesday. The Lakers, meanwhile, face the daunting task of trying to become the first team in NBA history to overcome a 0-3 deficit.
