The Cleveland Cavaliers stomped the Detroit Pistons, 112-103, in Game 4 on Tuesday morning (PH time) in Cleveland to even their Eastern Conference semifinal series at 2-2.
The Cavaliers played with vengeance after dropping the first two games of the matchup, using a huge third-quarter rally to build a 21-point advantage early in the fourth.
Detroit tried to claw back into the contest with a quick 7-0 run to trim the deficit to 14, but Donovan Mitchell responded with a clutch stepback triple followed by a smooth floater to steady Cleveland’s lead.
Mitchell erupted for 43 points and five rebounds in a dominant outing. He also tied Sleepy Floyd for the NBA playoff record for most points scored in a single half with 39.

James Harden also delivered a huge performance with a 24-point, 11-rebound double-double.
After trailing 0-2 in the series, Cleveland has now fought back to even things up heading into Game 5 on Thursday in Detroit.
