TNT completed the upset over NLEX, 118-112, at the Ynares Center-Antipolo last Saturday to advance to the semifinals of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) 50 Commissioner's Cup.

The Tropang 5G turned the knockout game into a mismatch to clinch a semifinal berth where they will be going up against Meralco starting on Wednesday in Antipolo City.

Bol Bol had 35 points and 13 rebounds after being in foul trouble early, and got ample support from the locals.

Roger Pogoy had 21 points, six rebounds, and four assists, and Calvin Oftana had 20 points and six assists. 

The loss was a bitter one for NLEX as it has been eliminated in the playoffs as the No. 1 seed for the second time in franchise history after their 2019 Governors' Cup campaign.
