The Cleveland Cavaliers are advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals after closing out their series against the Detroit Pistons with a dominant 125-94 win in Game 7 on Monday (PH time) in Detroit.
The Cavaliers delivered a thorough beatdown on the road to complete the comeback after trailing the series 0-2.
Cleveland created separation in the second quarter behind the strong interior play of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. The Cavs continued piling it on in the second half, stretching the lead to as many as 35 points in the final frame.
Detroit never found an answer as Cleveland cruised to an emphatic victory.
Donovan Mitchell led the way with 26 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Allen and Sam Merrill each scored 23, while Mobley added 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Daniss Jenkins paced Detroit with 17 points, while Cade Cunningham was held to just 13 in a disappointing finish to the series.
With the win, Cleveland advances to face the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals after New York swept the Philadelphia 76ers in the semifinals.
