The New York Knicks moved to within one win of completing a sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers after securing a 121-108 victory in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday morning (PH time) in Cleveland.
The Cavaliers managed to stay within striking distance throughout the first half, but the Knicks began pulling away in the third quarter as they stretched the lead to 13 points.
From there, the game followed a familiar pattern from the first two matchups. Cleveland repeatedly tried to rally, but New York always had an answer.

Landry Shamet sparked a key run by drilling three straight triples. Moments later, Jalen Brunson attacked the basket for a tough finish before OG Anunoby buried a momentum-killing three-pointer that drained the life out of the Cavs.
The Knicks cruised through the closing minutes and eventually stretched the lead to a game-high 17 points.
With just over a minute left, Knicks fans inside Rocket Arena drowned out the Cleveland crowd as the home team faded toward the brink of elimination.
Brunson led the charge with 30 points and six assists. Mikal Bridges added 22 points, while Anunoby chipped in 21.
Now holding a commanding 3-0 series lead, the Knicks will look to complete the sweep in Game 4 on Tuesday in Cleveland.
